Have you ever been so inclined Yeah, is it on your mind The thought we're the Lord's lone protégé Well I
thought we were the only hope Yeah, the world's safety rope Americana has come, come to save the day Imagine
my surprise To realize Everywhere I go I can see I'm not the only one Moving, moving to Jesus I went down
to Mexico Mi amigo And I found Jesus living outside the USA Imagine my surprise To realize
Now, I know that there are Christians all over the world, but how naive I was to think that the Church in
America knew how to worship. I have never in my whole life seen people worship God the way they do in
Mexico. When they pray, things happen. On Wednesday we went to Mina. We went to the women’s service
and the wind started to pick up as the service started. And it only got worse. We could barley hear the pastor’s
wife say that we were going to take a moment to pray that the wind would die down. We prayed for about five
minuets and the wind died down to a gentle breeze. Later that night we had a kids service with about 50 kids or
so. You should have seen these kids worship. Little two year olds, hands outstretched, eyes closed, worshiping
their Savior. When the service was over they had our team kneel down on the ground, while the kids came all
around us to pray for us. One little girl, about 9 years old, caught my eye and walked through all the rest of the
kids, took my hands in hers, knelt down with me and prayed for me. It was amazing!! The orphanage we visited
on Tuesday was also a great time. The kids were so much fun to play with. There was one little girl who was 7
years old, but looked like she was only 4 or 5 at the most. The youngest at the orphanage was 2. We had an Easter
egg hunt for them, they had a blast! They had an Easter egg hunt before. It was a lot of fun. It was hard
leaving though, especially when Cassandra came to give me a hug and had tears in her eyes. I miss them all so
much. It was really hard to come back to America. I know there are so many things I could do completely
without, but yet, I think that I have to have them. One of the things I enjoyed about being in Mexico was the
simplicity of life. I wish that America would live more simply.
Buenos días.
