  • Well, I have not posted on here for quite some time. I am do however, get on xanga from time to time. I haven't totally forsaken the xanga world. Things for me have been pretty busy lately. I am working for a before and after school program. I have K-2nd grade. It is pretty fun, but can be somewhat stressful when the kids won't listen. I am also doing to Lake Village Kid's Club again this year with Ben. Lacy came down for it last week and the kids were all so excited to see her. If you would please keep the Piedra's in your prayers. They are needing to move as soon as possible because of some things going on out there. You can read about it if you go to www.lakevillageministries.blogspot.com
Anyway. Just thought I would post a quick update!! I hope you are all doing great!!

  • Wow. It's been awhile since I last updated this...Camp is now over. Some people are going to wilderness camp. I was not able to go, sad. :( But that is ok. I am sending out some letters to churches about putting together backpacks filled with school supplies for the L.V. kids. I might be moving into Lake Village, Lot 12. Please be praying about it. There have been some doors opening for this, but there are still more that need to be opened. Living there would be amazing for ministry. I would be able to reach out to the families a lot better. We wouldn't have to worry about going over to Goodwill Camp for Kid's Club in the winter because it is cold, we could just have it at my house. I am wanting to start a youth group out there for the middle school and high school kids too. Anyway...please be praying for the L.V. ministries. Pray that all the needed doors are opened.

  • Nomads

What an amazing weekend. sleeping outside under the stars, drinking real indian chai with 300 other people, eating duck tounge and pig uterus, not only going to an Araduna concert, but sitting on stage with them, worshiping my Savior...There was so much. I am still digesting it all... God also told me that I am to go to India in June. Please pray for me, that I continue to trust God in this. He has told me not to worry about the details, but to just follow Him.

  • Have you ever been so inclined Yeah, is it on your mind The thought we're the Lord's lone protégé Well I
thought we were the only hope Yeah, the world's safety rope Americana has come, come to save the day Imagine
my surprise To realize Everywhere I go I can see I'm not the only one Moving, moving to Jesus I went down
to Mexico Mi amigo And I found Jesus living outside the USA Imagine my surprise To realize
Now, I know that there are Christians all over the world, but how naive I was to think that the Church in
America knew how to worship. I have never in my whole life seen people worship God the way they do in
Mexico. When they pray, things happen. On Wednesday we went to Mina. We went to the women’s service
and the wind started to pick up as the service started. And it only got worse. We could barley hear the pastor’s
wife say that we were going to take a moment to pray that the wind would die down. We prayed for about five
minuets and the wind died down to a gentle breeze. Later that night we had a kids service with about 50 kids or
so. You should have seen these kids worship. Little two year olds, hands outstretched, eyes closed, worshiping
their Savior. When the service was over they had our team kneel down on the ground, while the kids came all
around us to pray for us. One little girl, about 9 years old, caught my eye and walked through all the rest of the
kids, took my hands in hers, knelt down with me and prayed for me. It was amazing!! The orphanage we visited
on Tuesday was also a great time. The kids were so much fun to play with. There was one little girl who was 7
years old, but looked like she was only 4 or 5 at the most. The youngest at the orphanage was 2. We had an Easter
egg hunt for them, they had a blast! They had   an Easter egg hunt before. It was a lot of fun. It was hard
leaving though, especially when Cassandra came to give me a hug and had tears in her eyes. I miss them all so
much. It was really hard to come back to America. I know there are so many things I could do completely
without, but yet, I think that I have to have them. One of the things I enjoyed about being in Mexico was the
simplicity of life. I wish that America would live more simply.

    Buenos días.
